In the year 2000, my wife bought me a laptop computer, and I gradually became interested in various aspects of computing, so today, December 12, 2005, I am starting up this little website, where I will begin posting things that I find interesting.

December 21, 2005, the first day of Winter... I posted my first article to this website... 'Murder By Spam'... top link, left hand column.

I moved robertwittig.net from it's previous location on one of the GoDaddy servers, to a self-built server on my LAN, using a broadband connection.

The web server is Apache, and the operating system, OpenBSD 3.7.

I moved robertwittig.net to a SuperMicro 1U machine, in my rack... a more permanent home than it previously had, sitting on the corner of my workbench in an old tower case.

The web server is Apache, and the operating system is OpenBSD 3.9.
